Elizabeth: The Golden Age
Thankfully, first day back at work was mercifully quiet.
Decided to spend a quiet evening watching Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
Don't know why, but although the sets and costumes are great, the story compelling and Blanchett flawless as the queen, the film is kind of boring and doesn't seem to go anywhere or do anything much. The Spanish are just cardboard cut outs of greasy foreign types out to invade Inger-land.

Late at night or early morning?
It's almost 2 a.m. and I'm so tired I can't drag myself off to bed. Dreading going back to work on Sunday and am staying up late in the vain hope of making time pass slower. Or something.
